I am currently an academic librarian, but worked for 9 years before that at a public library. I'm interested in helping connect people of all ages to the information they need - for life, for fun, for education. My view on Wikipedia was completely changed after attending OpenCon in Washington, DC in November 2016. I went from seeing Wikipedia as a source that's sketchy because it's editable by anyone and instead seeing it as an incredible useful tool for teaching web literacy and making use of all of these amazing resources in our communities and libraries BECAUSE it's editable by anyone.

Also, I have a thing for seltzer - plain, on the rocks.
