Hi, I'm Bill Wedemeyer, an assistant professor in the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University. I'm not much of a Wikipedian, but rather a researcher of Wikipedia.
I gave a research talk at Wikimania 2008 in Alexandria on my students' work assessing the scope of the English Wikipedia and the quality of its scientific articles.
Tim Vickers and I are organizing a workshop to introduce Wikipedia editing to the scientists of the America Society for Cell Biology in December 2008.
