Hello! My name is Pacita Rudder and I'm the Executive Director of Wikimedia New York City.

I have deep experience in cultural strategy, program design, nonprofits, organizing, and engagement. And I love anything to do with history, travel, music, arts and culture, and literature.

I spent my formative years growing up in England, Ghana, and the United States and immigrated to New York with my family when I was sixteen. Since then, I've studied Comparative Cultures & Politics at Michigan State University, spent time in California doing cultural organizing in the entertainment industry and working for public policy nonprofits, and was a Cultural Strategist in Residence with the City of Oakland.

I currently live in Brooklyn with my partner.
