I coordinate the collaboration between Uppsala University and Al-Baha university in Saudi Arabia.
I also coordinate the bilateral collaborations between Sida (Swedish International Development and cooperation Agency) and AHRI (Armauer Hansen Research Institute) and Addis Abeba University in Ethiopia, and the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
I'm also hired at the Uppsala University library to spearhead the national project encouraging researchers at Swedish universities to use Wikipedia for Science outreach. Over the years my work on Wikipedia have been funded by the Swedish Research Council, the Strategic Foundation, the Research council Formas and the Bank of Sweden Tercentenary Foundation
I am an Associate Professor in Biology and conduct research at the department of Cell and Molecular Biology at Uppsala University focusing on bacteria in insects, in particular malaria mosquitoes.
