About me

I'm a new addition to the Wikimedia Foundation, having started in early 2018 as a Communications Intern.

Before joining the Foundation, I worked as a marketing, content, and communications-jack-of-all-trades for an India-based software company, where I fully realized my love for working across cultures and time zones.

I'm also a proud logger--that is, an alum of the University of Puget Sound in rainy Tacoma, Washington. There, I majored in German International studies, combining my love for the German language with my interest in foreign affairs and communication studies. I spent my junior year studying abroad in Munich, Bavaria, where I studied Politikwissenschaft at Ludwig-Maximillians Üniversität.

In my free time, I'm an avid board game nut and thrift-store crawler. I also love cooking authentic Sichuan cuisine, and learning about curing, fermenting, and pickling foods.

My work

As an intern in the Learning and Evaluation Team, I assist Communications and Outreach with the execution of Wikimedia Community Conferences, which include workshops and other endeavors which help the Foundation engage with its community. I also produce written content for the Foundation, including blogs, social media content, and other everyday copy.
