About me
Librarian, anthropologist, illustrator and photographer. I have worked for BAnQ for more than 10 years. I have held many positions including the Librarian Coordinator of Square, a digital creation space dedicated to teenage users in the Grande Bibliothèque (Montréal). I also worked to imagine and prepare what will be the new Bibliothèque Saint-Sulpice.
My work
For 5 years, I worked in a cinema where I held many positions but mainly manager. It was a very rewarding experience. During my university studies in Université Laval (Quebec), I worked as a research and teaching assistant with Jean-Jacques Chalifoux and Bernard Arcand. I had the chance to work on the new version of the Orient-Occident course of Professor Bernard Saladin-d'Anglure. After a very slight transition in the world of television production, I started working for BAnQ. I have held the following positions: library clerk, reference librarian, training librarian, implementation projects librarian, librarian mediator, and ultimately librarian co-ordinator.
I live in Montreal, Quebec.
Commons
I like contributing on Wikimedia Commons. I have been doing photography since I was 13 years old and I am equipped with many cameras. My main camera is a Canon 60D combines some lenses including the classic 50mm, 17-40mm and 70-200mm. A Wikimedia Commons project that is particularly important to me is the Red Carpet project. Here are some examples of contributions:
