Welcome edit
Hi, my name is Julien Tchilinguirian, fellow member of the Homo sapiens and a young graduate of a master in conservation ecology from the University of Montpellier, France. After having used wikipedia since my first steps on a computer and realizing how much knowledge it brings me on a daily basis, I am eager to contribute to the platform, as small as my inputs may be.
Areas of interests edit
I've always been passionate about arachnids and very interested in all things with too much appendages, and everything else really.
More precisely, I'm fascinated by the biology and ecology of some arachnids : Scorpiones, Uropygi, Amblypygi, some mites and some spiders. I'm also very interested in isopods, deep sea fishes, siphonophora and parasitology.
Our pale blue dot is nothing less than it's own universe, the biosphere. So honestly, all of ecology is interesting to me.
Knowledge and skills applicable to Wikimedia edit
I am trained in general ecology and conservation ecology, and skilled in the broad identification of arachnids worldwide (Only a few common families for Acari) and species level identification of European arachnids (Again, with the exception of Acari), therefore I plan to propose edits and create pages in the following subjects :
- Arachnology
- Entomology
- Ecology
