About me

I am academic and physics aficionado. I have strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse and interdisciplinary teams.

I have passion for helping people and participating in community building and human development causes.

Wikipedia is a great treasure and I am happy to be part of the people building it.

Professionally I work as Assistant lecturer at a College in Dutsin-Ma, Nigeria.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and programming as well as editing Wikipedia especially in my native Hausa language.

My work

I mostly contribute in the Hausa edition of Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons now.

I have been a passionate open source enthusiast, volunteer and passive Wikipedia reader for a long time. I was introduced to active Wikimedia projects participation by a colleague after an event organized in Kano, Nigeria sometime in early 2018.

I am glad to be here and help to spread the Wikimedia mission to far and wide.
