About me
Hello! My name is Hussein Issa. I am a Tanzanian youth,a Swahili Wikipedia administrator, a volunteer editor in a group of Wikipedia editors in Tanzania, former member of the East African Youth Parliament, I am also a student at The University of Dodoma studying Bachelor of Science in Computer Networks and Information Security Engineering .
I like to learn every day about the changes in science and technology in my country and the world in general. I participated in many local Wikimedia events, currently i am a club leader of Tanzania University Students Wikimedians College of Informatics and Virtual Education.
I am also a certified Kiwix4Schools trainer and i am an approved Ambassador of Kiwix in my country Tanzania, i am looking forward in achieving a lot from these Open knowledge movements.
My work
I started participating in Wikimedia movement in 2020, and in 2022 i was chosen to be a club leader in The University Of Dodoma for Tanzanian University Students Wikimedians User Group.
In early 2024 I was able to conduct Kiwix4schools project for the first time in Dodoma,the capital of Tanzania.I am proud of all kinds of supports and assistance given during this project execution and I still believe I have a huge debt to pay to many secondary and primary schools in need of this marvelous software, Kiwix
