Who I am?

I am Gayane, the Executive director of Wikimedia Armenia. I have joined the WMAM and the Wikimedia Movement in October 2017. Surprisingly, I knew nothing about Wikimedia before, except Wikipedia, of course :) I am happy I have became a part of this huge, interesting and diverse movement and have the pleasure to work with the amazing team of Wikimedia Armenia.

I have a Masters degree in Political Science and extensive nonprofit experience of more than a decade focusing on human rights, communications, advocacy and grants’ administration.

Eastern Armenian is my native language. I also speak English and Russian.
