About me

Born and raised in Chicago, lived in Phoenix and San Francisco a decade each. Went to school for Aeronautical Engineering but became enamored by the internet and coding and followed that path. Self employed for nearly 20 years before changing things up and joining CBS Interactive SEO team, which merged into ViacomCBS, and then to Red Ventures via an acquisition of my CNET media group. The very fast paced news and commerce search world is definitely fun but again felt I needed a change for reasons. I currently live in Phoenix Arizona (hate the summers; love the winters) with my wife and 3 year old daughter. I can be influenced with fine whiskey and sushi. Always striving to be a better human.

My work

I'm happy to have joined Wikimedia Foundation in July 2021 to work on the Wikimedia Enterprise (Meta) project. My background is diverse and multifaceted and deeply held in engineering and technical search engine optimization. I've thrived in startup-land, both with my own wins and fails and via many clients, and recently in corporate environments and have a good grasp on product within each.
