Principal Product Manager, Enterprise, Wikimedia Foundation
Hello!

About me

I joined the Wikimedia Foundation in late October 2023 to work on the Wikimedia Enterprise project. My goal is to promote responsible and ethical use of our API products and enable sustainable, transparent reinvestment in the community. Professionally, I previously worked for a precision medicine company called Tempus Labs as a product manager, a few semi-successful/unsuccessful start-ups as a co-founder or initial employee, Alexa as a data engineer for open-license data, a research engineer at the University of Vermont working in signal processing, and as a first responder for the Williston Fire Department doing pump operations and emergency medicine.

In my non-professional life I have worked as a fisherman, hot dog chef, farmer, Christmas-tree salesman, bartender, and an extremely unsuccessful one-time guitarist. I am from Vermont and live in Seattle with my houseplants.

My work

My background is in natural language, genomic and signal processing, but I switched to product management to build useful products that enable development for everyone around free knowledge. I work on Enterprise, but I have a keen interest in Wikidata ontologies and content meta analytics.
