About me
Hi! I'm better known to many people in the Wikimedia community and the open source software community as Pine. I have a wide range of interests that includes economics, data visualization, and the intersection of technology and society. In my community role, I write for the Signpost (my work includes the 2014 Wikipedia in Education series and the story of Wikimedia Bangladesh), I was a founding member of the Individual Engagement Grants Committee, and I am helping to create the Cascadia Wikimedians organization. Also in my community role, you might find me discussing research, budgets, programs, and strategies on the public Wikimedia mailing lists.
My work
My work for the Wikimedia Foundation will focus on the curation and organization of the learning patterns library. I will work with the Program Evaluation and Design Team to to identify relevant learning patterns from grants and voluntary reporting, and work with program leaders to develop those patterns for the library.
