About me

Learning and teaching physics in swings, carousels and roller coasters is a special interest. I try to illustrate fundamental physics principles with simple experiments and observations. (See tivoli.fysik.org)

My background is in Computational Atomic Physics (where I published under the name Mårtensson-Pendrill), often working at the interface to nuclear and particle physics.

Since 2009, I am also director of the Swedish National Resource Centre for Physics Education (fysik.org), located at Lund university, where I was appointed professor in 2015.
