About me

I joined the Wikimedia Enterprise team in January 2022 to help develop and run our Customer Support & Success program. I love working with teams that prioritize collaboration, mutual respect, building each other up, and having fun while doing it. I love working for companies and organizations that respect and prioritize their staff, users, and customers. I live in Ashland, Oregon USA with my husband, two kids (15 & 21), two cats, one dog, and one bunny. Books, nature, food, dance, film, music, traveling, (good) television, strategy board games, and dark chocolate are some of my favorite things.

My work

I have a long background working in tech starting in 1996 in San Francisco, where I lived until 2017 when my family and I moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands. After five years in Amsterdam, we moved back to the US to a small town in Southern Oregon. Over the years I've worn many professional hats -- as a project manager, front-end coder, account manager, web mistress, co-founder (Ruby Red Labs and Get Satisfaction), and VP of Customer Care and Community (Automatic Labs), to name a few. I have a passion for creating delightful experiences both personally and professionally. One of my favorite examples of this passion is Yes and Yes Yes (YxYY), a 300+ person, 3 day event of creative collaboration, conversation, and play that I co-founded with four friends and ran annually for five years from 2013-2017.
