One of them is discouraging harassment on newbies by old editors especially when they are lost and an the old contributor tries to make jest of the newbie. secondly, on the issue of funding, where the old editor or experienced editor fails to give benefits to facilitators as it was stated due to hierarchy or role in the community. lastly, designing projects focused on the needs of the community and not for the need of the coordinators.

One policy I helped to changed was involving community member on what movement strategy is all about and how they can contribute to knowledge equity. Also coordinated movement strategy 47 initiatives translation to Igbo language and also signing up as a translator on meta-wiki. Through this collaborative editing, we were more user friendly and this has come to stay that we need to translate themovement documents to our community. This taught me the power of collaboration and it helped in ensuring that our community understands the decision making processes and the strategic directions towards the movement's mandate.
How have you been able to empower people to make their voices heard? I have played a great role in advancing inclusivity in the community. I initiated a project tagged" Deepening Community Engagement on movement strategy", to involve the community on the knowledge of the Strategic direction (knowledge equity and knowledge as a Service). Also, through the Movement Charter Ambassadors program, I have been able to involve my communities with oher ambassadors on community conversation to ensure our voices are heard in decision- making processes. I have organised several projects to amplifying the voices of the underrepresented, especially women.
Sometimes in professional situations, there are personality conflicts. Explain how you remain productive even with personality conflicts. When personality conflicts arise, I would stay focused on the aim of the work or project not allowing personal problem to push me backward. I would never allow these conflicts to determine my interaction with others generally.
Strategic Thinking
In your opinion, how can the U4C be a positive influence in the Wikimedia movement? U4C can help build trust and safety within the Wikimedia community. It can be use as a tool in the wikimedia movement to encourage respect, diversity, equity, inclusivity and collaboration. Applying the U4C especially on community engagement involving newbies, will give them the sense of being respected and valued. This will give them the notion of seeing Wikimedia as a supportive and welcoming environment.
How would you help the Universal Code of Conduct develop and improve over time? I would ensure that the U4C responds to the need of the Wikimedia community which include fostering a conducive safe, inclusive and respectful atmosphere. I would also ensure that there are transparency, equity and accessibility in the implementation of the U4C to all community, help in contributing to areas of impact, improvement and introduce innovative practices to improve the U4C.
