Universal Code of Conduct/2021 consultations/Wikimedia Foundation Staff conversation hours

Universal Code of Conduct

The Movement Strategy and Governance facilitation team will host discussions on 13–14 October with the Wikimedia Foundation staff and contractors to talk together about how to enforce the Universal Code of Conduct and how will the staff be affected by this policy, as the UCoC and its EDGR require some actions to be taken, by both the organizations of the Wikimedia Movement and individual people in those organizations.

The calls are currently part of the Universal Code of Conduct project Phase 2 Enforcement draft guidelines review (EDGR).

Each call will last between 50 and 60 minutes and will include a 5-10 minute introduction about the purpose of the call, followed by open discussions. The ideas shared during the calls will be shared with the committee working to draft an Enforcement Guideline and those working on the Movement Charter initiatives.

Please sign up below on the times you wish to attend by using four tildes (~~~~). The discussions will be held on Google Meet. Links to the meetings will be provided on this page a few hours before they occur. The calls will not be recorded, but the notes from the conversation hours will be accessible for people who couldn't attend. Participation via video or audio is not required; participants may engage using the Google Meet text chat.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the Universal Code of Conduct 2021 consultations so far!
