1 May: Wow! I am amazed! The contest takes off with a great blast! During the first 24 hours a total of 28 articles in 9 languages were created, by 12 participants. 4 May: 150 articles have now been improved by 25 participants, in 19 different languages. Some have been asking for a photo competition since there are several unillustrated articles. We are listening to you. In the mean time, the Swedish National Heritage Board, Riksantikvarieämbetet, just recently uploaded over 100 images of Umeå that probably can be used to illustrate several articles. 15 May: The productivity continues to be fantastic! Today 27 new articles have been created and many older contributions have been expanded and improved as well! That's something I am very happy to see as that will make the articles much more useful for the readers. Today we also received our first two contributions in Italian. 20 May: Today 6 new extra articles have been added to the contest! A number of languages have translated all of the first 40 articles and we have had some good news from the municipality, so we are hopeful that we will be able to place signs next to these buildings and parks as well!
