editI've been working on improving this article recently, and I thought it would make a good ToTW because it is an appropriate length, touches on all the major fields of Greenlandic music and is referenced, with inline citations. It currently exists on in English. Some important links are to en:Inuit music, en:hip hop music, en:throat-singing, en:shaman, en:roots revival, en:rock (music), en:fiddle, en:accordion and en:polka. There does not appear to have ever been a ToTW regarding Greenland, the Inuit or anything concerning the Arctic, so this would be a good article for small wikis to start with covering the culture of this area, as well as a good first "music of" for those wikis without any yet. - Hey guys - this ToW stuff has gotten way out of sync. Firstly, our good friends the silverfish seemed to stay up there for an eternity. Then, Greenland makes an appearance for about two days, and before you can say ikke bra, Prunus appears out of nowhere. So is Prunus this week's or last week's or the week before's (I'm so confused, I don't even know if I am using my possessives correctly!). Having said all that, I agree with Node that in the first instance, this article did need a bit of touching up - cci l'avevu pi testa pi farilu, ma.... --pippudoz - (waarom? jus'b'coz!) 05:39, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

Somebody once asked for a Danish translation - now this is available. Unfortunately, I cannot boast of any special knowledge of the subject, but I have been crosschecking a few of the facts and have also been making a few corrections in the English article. Amjaabc 14:22, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- Great! Did you expand the Danish article too? My Danish is about as good as my Greenlandic, but that looks longer in some parts than the English version (though maybe Danish just has longer words than English). Tuf-Kat 01:44, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Comments There is probably some other "Royal road" in all languages, and this isn´t the one usually referred to as the Royal road. Maybe "Persian royal road", "Achamedian..", "royal traderoute of ancient Persia" can be suitable in your language.Johan Jönsson 14:18, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

- There seems to be criticism of using the term Zen garden./Johan Jönsson 18:05, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
- Currently english version is not in good shape. Introductory first paragraph is not good enough, and also other parts must be cleaned-up. It would be better if someone can clean it up --Ugur Basak 08:35, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- If the english version is not good, then use the japanese version and german version; both are better than english translation. Remember isn't neccesary use articles in english as base of the translations.--Taichi - (あ!) 04:36, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
- It would be nice if there where only one article to translate. I understand it so that it is the japanese article that is the translation candidate. For them who don´t understand japanese the articles in other languages can be used to get a grasp of the subject of the article./Johan Jönsson 16:35, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- Until 00:00 of May 1, this candidate had the advantage against Gan Ying; then this is the Translation of the week.--Taichi - (あ!) 06:57, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

- When doing interwiki, notice that this article is about the school uniform and not the en:sailor suit. Is there a "translation" of fuku or should the title in every language include the word fuku? /Johan Jönsson 20:37, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- The kanji of fuku is 服, and means "costume", for more info see ja:服 or its translations.--Taichi - (あ!) 05:05, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- Note: The german version (de:) is related to "sailor suit", that include the "sailor fuku".
