Change icon or not? edit

  • The de facto icon, File:Cyberduck_icon.png, is of course a png, and someone tried to use a svg file to replace it;
  • That looks in good behavior, but I still reverted as this will break too many uses, not only by users with Checkuser rights, but also for RFL, PCP, Meta:Babel, April fool and other discussion purposes.
  • Another reason to contest the icon for altering or not is that the de facto one is licensed as GPL-2.0-or-later, which I'm not sure if attributions are required or not (or even forced?!), this problem at least exists at {{Possible}}, as that icon is GFDL-1.2-or-later+CC-BY-SA-3.0 licensed.

Pinging Meta Checkusers: @Ajraddatz, Hasley, MarcoAurelio, Sotiale, Trijnstel, Vermont any inputs? Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 08:35, 22 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm not particularly concerned either way. – Ajraddatz (talk) 16:31, 22 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
