Community Relations/Community health
This page is kept for historical interest. Any policies mentioned may be obsolete. Both the Technical Collaboration team and the Community Health group does not exist anymore. The Community Health group has been superseded by the Code of Conduct Committee. See phab:T199086 |
The Technical Collaboration team supervises community health in Wikimedia technical spaces. This task includes:
- maintaining and analyzing community metrics
- recommending improvements to keep our community open, welcoming, and respectful
- handling reports of violations of the Phabricator etiquette or Friendly space policy in technical events
- handling appeals of Code of Conduct decisions
Code of Conduct
editThe Wikimedia technical spaces have a Code of Conduct to deal with unacceptable behavior.
The goal of the Code of Conduct is to protect victims of harassment, support a respectful and friendly environment, and prevent abuse.
The Code of Conduct Committee accepts reports of unacceptable behavior in Wikimedia technical spaces (report a problem).
The Technical Collaboration team acts as the Wikimedia Foundation's point of contact for the Code of Conduct Committee for Wikimedia technical spaces. As defined by this Code of Conduct, we also handle appeals of resolutions submitted to us.
We treat these reports and their discussion with confidentiality.
The Technical Collaboration members involved are:
-
Rachel Farrand, Events Program Manager and a point of contact for violations of the Wikimedia Foundation's Friendly space policy in technical events.
-
Chris Koerner, Community Liaison.
-
Srishti Sethi, Developer Advocate.
-
Quim Gil, Senior Manager, Technical Collaboration.
Nick Wilson (Community Liaison) is appointed as auxiliary member in case of absence or conflict of interest by any of the group members above.
The rest of the Technical Collaboration team members do not have access to reports and their related information (including the auxiliary members, except in the cases where they are involved).
