What are some examples of journalism in blogs? edit
It's early days for me and blogging. For various reasons, I've been distracted from progressing with the development of my blogging application and actual content in it. What happened, or at least what do I remember? edit
I'm holding off on lgoing through the log carefully just yet. I want to let it perk at least until tomorrow, to see what stands out in my memory. But just now, there are a few things:
- There is a strongly perceived community suspicion on the part of some members of the community regarding the editorial process of Wikinews.
- RSS feeds. No, seriously, RSS feeds.
- If we want input from the bloggers, we have to add technical tools for them. They have spent a lot of time, effort, refining their craft and if we want to share resources with them, our tools have to be at least as good as theirs.

- Ecto?
- Licensing was a non-issue for most; the primary concerns were linkbacks, credit, and avoiding licensing hassles.
- Strong activism opposing corporate plagiarism, and a clear warning that Wikinews had best steer clear of such. Thank goodness that's a non-issue for us, since we have strong standards on this point.
- PD problems were highlighted, and a discussion of licensing under a CC variation seemed to be preferred.
- By the way, some form of RSS. Really.
