New strategy?

edit

@Egezort You just added a whole new strategy, that we haven't discussed in any of our calls. Also, looking inwards at organizational climate impacts is outside of the scope of the user group and rather something for the Sustainability initiative. Please revise your edit and bring up any new strategies for discussion on the strategy page first. Ainali talkcontributions 15:33, 2 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I was just going through the Strategy list and this seemed relevant so I added it. I will move it to the discussion page on the strategy page. Egezort (talk) 15:44, 2 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Celebrating/Commemorating days

edit

I saw that today was Anti Corruption Day. Which is indirectly related to SDG's, as also indicated by its enwiki page. I want to set a goal so that we celebrate/commemorate important days as the User Group, with basic posts created through apps. Is this a reasonable goal? How many would be manageable? It seems reasonable. I think you are the best person to judge how many you can manage to create, so pick a number you're comfortable with. Ainali talkcontributions 07:25, 10 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Metadata 'density'

edit

Some of us add bibliografic metadata for new relevant R&D publications linking older ones/references with new findings especially using and promoting Scholia. Perhaps such activities suit for some 2025 planing? For eaxmples see d:Q131400303 or d:Q131400345 via https://www.sueddeutsche.de/wissen/klimaforschung-temperatursprung-2023-li.3159781 Jeb (talk) 05:50, 15 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Coordination, or raising awareness, of such efforts would fit very well in the plan. Ainali talkcontributions 16:21, 15 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
