Talk:Wikimedia resolutions/Wikimania Committee

This resolution was proposed to the WMF board, which discussed it at its Wikimania meeting. It was agreed that while a committee may be a fine idea, WMF / board approval is not needed -- since Wikimania is a community-run event, and the WMF supports but does not oversee it. :) See this response for further thoughts.
