Lead FP&A Analyst
The vacancy announcement for a Lead FP&A Analyst & Business Partner is quite puzzling. First of all, I had no idea the term FP&A was in use at WMF, but ok; good to know if you found a term that clicks with the expected audience. But then the description of the job only adds more confusion: «reporting to the FP&A Manager. In this highly visible role, you will work in close partnership with the CFO to serve as the strategic finance business partner to C-suite members and leaders across the organization»? Is this some sort of continuation of the former "Head of Business Development" role the WMF had for a few years? Nemo 12:32, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Nemo bis: As stated in the job posting, this position will support several internal teams as well as the wider foundation with their budgeting and financial analysis. It is not a continuation of the Head of Business Development position. --Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 00:30, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
