Page proofreading

edit

Hi. I've tagged the page with translate tags and going to mark it for translation. But before that the page should be proofread nicely so translators won't need to fix their translations after some changes has been made. Please check that all info provided is sufficient, up-to-date and rightly written. Leave a note after that thus I or other TAs'll mark it. --Base (talk) 20:41, 1 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

This page will be updated before, during and after the conference. In its current state it contains pre-conference information, then it will be updated once the registration is closed and programme is finalised, then it will be updated the conference starts, and it will achieve its final state once the conference ends.
I don't see any use in translating a page that will be updated on approximately weekly basis (to the point that translations will quickly become outdated) and that is of little value to people who don't speak English (as they will have little interest in attending the conference which is in English). Probably it will make more sense if you mark this page for translation once the conference ends and we will have a nice page with conference outcomes, as those will be much more useful to the international community than information about preparation of the event they will not attend — NickK (talk) 21:13, 1 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
