Abbreviations

edit

Please avoid abbreviations like EN, NEY XSW, especially if there is not a any context that explains what is meant. If you really want to use such abbreviations, give any hint what is meant, either in the text itself or in the qqq message. Thanks, --Michawiki (talk) 15:48, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

It was in the original enwiki version. If you'd like to change these, please do so. πr2 (t • c) 15:50, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Hello πr2. Thanks for your reply. I'm not a translation admin to change that. The question isn't to replace the abbreviation but to explain what these abbreviations mean. For instance, it's good if there is any explaining word like in the message beginning with Q3: "I've just noticed that article ZEN...". I know at once, aha, ZEN is the name of an article. Thus this example is OK. Especially for longer explanations it is advisable to use the qqq message. Regards, --Michawiki (talk) 16:55, 14 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
