@Joseagush: Thank you for this proposal. I am pleased you have moved this across to here from your original e-scholarship proposal - I feel it fits more appropriately here, and is more flexible. I have a couple of comments I wish to make on this draft. Remember, you can edit this proposal as much as you want until the application deadline (1 October).
- In the budget, I see you have allocated $600 for "Online Editathon 4 times x 10 person x $15/person". Can you explain what this 15 per person is spent on? Is it the cost of internet data, for example?
- For the COVID risk assessment section, you need to create and fill in the spreadsheet of 'risks' and 'mitigation procedures', and then copy the link to that spreadsheet into your application document. The instructions for the form are here: Grants:Risk assessment during COVID-19. You can see an example of another Wikicite grant application which has done this - for comparison - here: Wikicite/grant/A-3day_Wiki_Cite_event_to_produce_a_Bibliography_of_Newpapers_and_its_Publishing_Houses_in_Nigeria_since_independence_in_1960_on_Wikdata_that_will_link_to_other_Wikimedia_projects.#COVID_risk_assessment_(for_in-person_events)
- I encourage you to inform the general Wikimedia community in Indonesia, Balinese Wikipedia/WikiSource about this proposal, and ask them to provide comments or endorsements on the proposal itself.
I, or the WikiCite grant committee, might have other questions later, we will put them here too. Sincerely, LWyatt (WMF) (talk) 12:14, 16 September 2020 (UTC).
- Hi @LWyatt (WMF):, thanks for fast respond. Here is some answer:
- Yes, its cover for internet data they spent for online editahon for at least 4-8 hours. Depending how big data we can get.
- Thank you, i will try to learn this thing.
- Yes, still try to contact Indonesian communities and others too. This is actually balinese community proposal as we try to create programs for next year. To make our community and its wikipedia (ban.wiki) known in our society. Thank you. Sincerely, Joseagush (talk) 12:45, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
Report
edit- Hi @LWyatt (WMF):, where I can create project report for this project? Thanks. Joseagush (talk) 13:20, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Dear user:Joseagush - the official report page is here: Wikicite/grant/Balinese WikiLontar/Report. You can adjust the sub-headings to meet the needs of what you wish to say. You are also encouraged (but not required) to make blogposts or public announcements about your work. You can also link to this video you made for the WikiCite virtual conference WikiCite/2020_Virtual_conference#Proyek_Wikicite_Indonesia as an example of your public reports of your work.
- The report page has a section which describes the budget/expenses. You will also need to send an email to me and WMF-Grants-Administration with the copies of receipts for the expenses you describe in the budget. I hope this answers your question. Sincerely, LWyatt (WMF) (talk) 13:33, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Liam, Thank you for fast respond and the answer. Joseagush (talk) 23:32, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
