  •   Comment I like the idea, but I would like to make some proposals for the Rules section:
    • Announcement: I think it would be better to create a centralized page on meta and then make translations of the same page with the <translate> tags. This would help to avoid outdated content if there are changes on the page.
    • Rewards: I think that a barnstar could be given to all participants or to only the most active ones. Maybe we could use the same system as in the Catalan culture challenge. --Unapersona (talk) 14:52, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  •   Support I agree with the comments of Unapersona and with the proposal. But I think the first week of June is too early. There isn't enough time to organize something with wide consensus and participation from other wikibooks. --Xavi Dengra (MESSAGES) 20:17, 16 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
  •   Support I completely agree with the comments made above by Unapersona and Xavier Dengra especially I'd like to emphasise the point made by Xavi. I think that we have no hurry nor pressure to launch this event so we ought to take our time to prepare it and make the necessary diffusion. This could be a good opportunity to encourage non-wikipedians to edit, to explain wikibooks to the world. --Gerardduenas (talk) 16:59, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Unapersona, Xavier Dengra, and Gerardduenas: thank you all for your support ! I agree with the first point of Unapersona, not with the second. It's too complicated for now (maybe at the second/third event's edition ?). June is a generally an active month on lots of Wikibooks and 10 days are sufficient to lauch the event (it just consists of asking a CentralNotice banner and ask to mark Wikibooks/Cookbooks week for translation on Meta:AN. @Gerardduenas, Xavier Dengra, and Archi38: I have changed the Announcement section. I don't think it's too complicated: we only have to give a barnstar to all people that have signed up in the centralized page. I think this could improve the motivation of participants. The Catalan Culture Challenge used this system in its first edition, and it went fine. And how about moving the starting date to the beginning of July or the end of June? I think that 10 days are not enough to create a good-looking page and promote it. --Unapersona (talk) 14:58, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Unapersona: why not the beginning of July ? As for the page, I think can try to make something. I'll notify you when I finish it. Archi38 (talk) 20:54, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
