TTT bidding

Hi all, @VVIT WikiConnect Coordinators: this year CIS-A2K is inviting communities to host the 2019 iteration of Train the Trainer. It has opened up a bidding process for the communities to propose to host the event. Since we have experience in organising a wide range of activities over an year, I believe we are in good position to host the event in Andhra Pradesh. For the organising, I propose the present coordinators who already have event organising experience along with User:KCVelaga to guide us. We can propose a bid upto 30 Jan 2019, starting from 15 Jan. I have Vijayawada or Vizag in mind. Both of these are good options, but let us decide on one before we propose. To keep the process transparent, please add your opinion here. I suggest Vizag. Though Vijayawada and Vizag are equally well connected by road and rail, Vizag has better air connectivity. So Vizag is better. We'll have more options for venue there than Vijayawada. Though it is relatively more distance for us, I don't think it is big problem. We can figure it out. Vizag seems to be a better option for me as well. However, as Navya mentioned we need to figure out the logistical problem. Since we have regular buses from Vijayawada for every 1-2 hrs, and journey is just an overnight travel (~7hrs), it shouldn't be a big problem to coordinate. Dubbing for Wikipedia Tales in Telugu Language

Hi all, We took up a project to dub Wikipedia Tales into the Telugu language, thereby promoting Wikipedia among Telugu speakers. The dubbing had been done in three phases. In the first phase, we translated the subtitles from English to Telugu. In the second phase, we learnt about recording techniques for refining the voice, using equipment and software to integrate that into a video. In the third phase, we completed the rehearsal and documentation. The dubbing is done with the help of User:Gnana Sreekar, User:Jyothi Javvaji, User:KCVelaga, User:MNavya, User:Neeharika sai, User:Sri Lekha Pathakamuri, User:Sumanth699. Thank you for your support.
