2021 steward election announcement

I have not disabled CentralNotice, I would not know how to do it even if I wanted to. However, I did not receive an invitation to participate in these elections. What's more I did not see any formal announcement in the various Village Pumps that I follow from time to time. How do I cast a vote in this election of stewards? I read the bios and clicked on "yes" but nothing happened. ????

deadline for number of edits

Dear fellow wikipedians,

why is the deadline for the requested number of edits (for being eligible to vote) so far in the past? Do we have a wikimedia guidelines page that explains the cause? Thank you in advance. --Himbeerbläuling (talk) 11:14, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
