The closure of Initial discussions suggested that Wikidata issues should be discussed within Wikidata, and twn issues ditto.
It is sadly however, that I don't see anywhere that suggested, if someone is intended to discussing the standard conflictions between ISO 639 (where language policy uses and straighted) and BCP47 (where Wikidata uses and preferred). - There is not a single place to discuss this. But do understand that LangCom and Wikidata have different needs, and therefore different approaches can be appropriate. For example: d:Q132911 has a label in en of "elevator", with an alias of "lift". It also has a label in en-gb of "lift". And that's entirely appropriate. But that doesn't mean LangCom will ever agree to allowing a Wikipedia in en-gb. StevenJ81 (talk) 15:01, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
