doubts

edit

I think that cases are different, a hard capping of one month is not a good idea (although it would be good if OC could proceed faster). But just like with ArbCom, it does not make much sense to impose a strict deadline, as sometimes people need to be talked to, interviewed, discussed, etc. I'm also opposed to making OC tenure just one term, I believe there is a knowledge transfer and a learning curve to be accounted for. However, some rotation could definitely help, too. Pundit (talk) 11:31, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Transfer of what knowledge? There hasn't been an investigation in ages. Or am I mistaken? Snowolf How can I help? 12:00, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Also which deadline is set for one month? Snowolf How can I help? 12:01, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
As a past member of the commission, it would be great if you could shed some light on when the last investigation that took place during your term happened, how long the average investigation lasted, etcetera. Snowolf How can I help? 12:13, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Contacted

edit

I have contacted the Board of Trustees and the OC asking for comments (as well as Philippe and Geoff). Hopefully we can get the ball rolling on this :) Snowolf How can I help? 12:14, 17 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
