What should this page be for? Just information about GLAM and activities and/or a space for those interested in learning about how to approach content partnerships with GLAMs?Jennifer Riggs 23:53, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Currently we are using it to explain the acronym, and I'm using it as a hub to store and forward a bunch of links. Maybe we can use this as a general (even philosophical) page on the subject, and make Best practices in building a content partnership with a cultural institution a more practical how-to. --Nemo 17:18, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • At this moment we have not defined what a partnership is. As a consequence there are what we call partnerships but there is nothing on the WMF end that recognises these partnerships as such. Thanks, GerardM 22:07, 13 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is a good start, but as a volunteer looking to initiate contact, it would be nice to have contact with those who have had experience in this. Im still not sure how to how or what to say to initiate contact. (I will check this page but its best to contact me in en:User_talk:ThelmadatterThelmadatter 15:49, 12 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Merging and hubing GLAM document on Meta

edit

So, here is the place to talk about merging and hubing information on GLAM. Please help to complete and to perform the task list. --Psychoslave (talk) 18:49, 3 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Tasklist

edit
  • decide where to centralize information
  • listing pages which need to be redirected here, specifying if non-redundant information should be merged
    • listing project subpages when existing
  • translating pages

Discussion about where to centralize information

edit

Here is two suggestions : meta (right here), or outreach. Feel free to comment, add suggestions and so on.

Pages which should be merged

edit

Where merge would not mean put everything on a single page, but put everything in the same wiki and possibly using GLAM/* subpages.

Return to "GLAM" page.
