Astroexpeditions (Macedonian: Астроекспедиции) is a project оf Shared Knowledge that seeks to improve existing and create new articles about the sites of astronomical significance of Macedonia, as well as creating high-quality images of the phenomena of our galaxy (the Milky Way) as they appear to us.
Special:MyLanguage/== Selecting the sites == The places covered by the project are selected on the basis of the following criteria:
- dominant location and absence of light pollution, enabling observations of the sky;
- number of articles on the Macedonian Wikipedia related to the locality and the constellations that can be observed from there;
- number of different images on Wikimedia Commons related to the said locality and constellations.
