This page holds a JSON schema that specifies a data model for EventLogging.
Collects user (or bot) behavior data from the MediaWiki registration page via the WikimediaEvents extension (see code) with the goal of training a machine learning classifier to recognize bots. Specifically, statistical information about keyboard and mouse usage (such as average dwell and flight time, time between clicks, mouse cursor acceleration and curvature) and the username are collected. No information is collected while a password field is focused. Keys are not differentiated for typing data collection, thus the data is not expected to be specific enough to identify individual users.
