Notes on Jun 6th edit

Couple of notes:

  • The data scheme of the logs is available here: https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Analytics/Data/Webrequest
  • The logs will be Varnish cache logs, i.e. some queries would be run on backend, and some will be served from cache. It may be useful to distinguish between these, especially when talking about query timing

Sessions edit

The webrequest dataset does not allow to reconstruct sessions for the most part, it is intentional as we like to keep as little info about our users as possible NRuiz (WMF) (talk) 19:15, 22 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
