This is a periodic report summarising the activity and caseload of the Ombuds Commission for the period from 1 April 2020 to 24 January 2021 (final term of the 2020 OC).
The next report will indicate the work of the 2021 Ombuds Commission from its establishment until April 2021. This allows future commissions to report on their own activity and not on the previous commission's activity.
- The Commission entered this reporting period with 24 matters unresolved.
- 20 new matters were raised with the Ombuds Commission during the period.
- The Commission passed a resolution upon 26 matters during the period.
- At the end of July 2020 there were 17 open matters.
- At the end of October 2020 there were 16 open matters.
- At the period end there were 18 open matters.
