William Shakespeare (April 23?, 1564 to April 23, 1616) was an English actor and writer.
He wrote powerful tragedies, funny comedies, and beautiful poems. His works describe human feelings, such as love, jealousy, anger. Even today people still perform his plays and read his poems.
His most famous plays include Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth.
