Meta:Requests for temporary adminship/Kaldari

Hello, I'd like to request temporary adminship during the Wikimedia fundraiser (and 1 month prior) on meta due to my role as a member of the fundraising team and as an active developer (and user) of CentralNotice. I do have a staff account under Ryan Kaldari, but since my mediawiki coder account is Kaldari and I'm typically logged into CentralAuth as Kaldari, it's a pain to have to switch to my staff account in order to use CentralNotice (sometimes several times a day). I will not be using my admin rights on meta for anything other than CentralNotice. I'm currently an administrator on en.wiki and commons, and a member of the OTRS team under this account. - Oppose to have such a vote and continue; if I recall correctly our tradition has granted the temp access to people who succeed in showing reasons fair enough and capability to use it rightly, without any vote but relying on bureaucrat discretion. I think this request as such - why not apply snow clause and give him the access immediately? --Aphaia 20:11, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Closed as successful. The user gets temporary admin access to meta until 31 January 2011. -Barras 08:33, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
