Here's another one. Pmlinediter is among our most active editors, and though he's only been around for a couple months, he is an experienced user and admin on several other projects. His work consists largely of overall maintenance, such as archiving stale steward requests and categorizing stuff. In addition to being entrusted with adminship and bureaucratship on quite a few wikis, he has access to global rollback, which naturally requires very high levels of trust. All that said, I think he would be a definite benefit to Meta with the extra buttons. –Juliancolton | Talk 15:44, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, I'll accept. Thanks JC for the nomination. If I succeed, I hope to help do maintenance stuff on Meta. Thank you for your consideration. Pmlineditor ∞ 15:48, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- á móti, I don't see any activity that requires sysop tools, and "most active editors", I can't see that either... --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 16:19, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I'd like to comment that I am probably more active than most of the recently promoted admins. As for whether I need admin tools; well probably no one "needs" them. Recently, I've been looking into the backlog of Special:UncategorizedPages and if I find a page which can be speedied, it might help if I have +sysop. However, different people may have different criterion for supporting and thus you're oppose is fine with me. Regards, Pmlineditor ∞ 16:42, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Very active user that would be a benefit to this project with the tools. Ottava Rima 17:00, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose - the last time I opposed people started to complain about w:WP:POINT so I'm going to make a long statement, I have looked at your contributions and the most contribtutions I see doesn't need a +sysop bit, I mostly see votes, comments and welcomings those things doesn't need a sysop bit therefor I think it would be for the best when you try again in like 3 months. I also noticed a other thing that gives me a strange feeling, you seem to be in a hurry to get flags around the wiki's

- 4 rfr in the last month, why are you so in a hurry to get rights, it starting to look like you're looking for status because you keep running for rights with very few edits. Huib talk 17:03, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't know whether this is the shortest RfA on meta ;) but I've decided to withdraw. Probably, I could have waited, but I don't see this request passing... so I've decided to withdraw this request. While I probably might run again at some point of time, I'd like to improve as an editor before I run for an admin request on any other wiki. I'd just like to add that I'm a bit saddened by Huib's comment that I'm in a hurry for rights; I'll really have to think about this and correct myself in whatever way possible. I hope when I return for an RfA here (if I do), I'll be a better editor. Till then, I'll try to help out with vandalism and SD-tagging as far as possible.
