I finally decided to request adminship on meta, because I frequently could need it in SWMT related things. Of course I know that I haven't been that active over here, but I have been active on a regular basis and I (as global rollbacker and global sysop) should be trusty enough, further I am sysop on strategywiki.
I will use my admin rights mainly in case of vandalism (speedy deletions, blocks), but as well to perform some maintenance tasks. - Hoo man (talk) 23:26, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Support Absolutely. Hoo man does good work in anti-vandalism here and would certainly benefit from sysop tools. Jafeluv 07:03, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose - There are some things I'd like to point out. Strategywiki, where you are a sysop and therefore fill our current policy on becoming sysop is a project where it is possible and fairly easy for everyone to get adminship. Also, I don't see that you are really active on this wiki which qualifies you for local adminship here. So what's left over? The global sysop right. As a global sysop you help with SWMT matters but you are hardly something like a local sysop or part of a local community where you have this right, so I doubt that you make any decisions that are unclear and need judgement (just looking at requests for deletions or the like). I'm not sure if my standard is too high, but I want to see that people with +sysop on a non-content project are really active on the project or they firstly become sysop on a content project. Global sysop does in my opinion not qualify for local adminship here. The same goes for projects like strategy, test or labs wikis. Sorry, but not now. -Barras 21:42, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Be sure I will only do non controversial decisions, may I will do other things later (after I gained enough experience), but for now I wont do anything controversial - Hoo man (talk) 16:34, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Neutral I don't think that Meta needs much more RC patrolling (compared to many small wikis) and I don't see [almost] any local maintenance activity by Hoo, so I don't understand what he needs the tools for; this is also because Hoo is not very active on Meta, so it's quite difficult to predict what he would take care of. --Nemo 11:21, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I will mainly do RC patrolling, but as well other maintenance actions like changing fully protected templates. Further I may start working with the title blacklist and the spam blacklist. - Hoo man (talk) 11:33, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
