I've noticed myself being more active on Meta lately (more so reading than editing, however) and think that I could help out over here. I am an admin on the English Wikipedia and feel comfortable using the tools. I am often reachable on IRC (at #wikimedia) in case anyone needs help from someone with the extra buttons. Oppose now. Currently you are not involved into meta housecleaning, mainly ComProjGroup. It's fine, but not combined to necessity of admin tool. Also you seem to have no activity on other multilingual projects which may compensate your lack of involvement to this project. I don't think a monolingual / editing only editor is ready to have a sysop mop here on meta, specially just after the person squeezed my own workplace. You'll be ready later, in months perhaps, but 300+ edit without housecleaning is not enough, I think. --Aphaia 06:56, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
