Meta:Requests for adminship/Frank Schulenburg

Promoted. Not controversial, even omitting my vote. Overdue. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 06:56, 22 May 2009 (UTC) I would like to nominate Frank Schulenburg for adminship on Meta-Wiki. Frank is currently Head of Public Outreach for the Wikimedia Foundation and was previously a member of the WMDE board. He has become quite active on Meta and I feel he would find the tools useful. - I'm inclined to support you, but why do you need this tool?--Nick1915 - all you want 18:10, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Hi Nick1915, Thank you for your question. As I'm more and more working on the meta wiki (planning events, building a "best practices" section, coordinating public outreach work), the admin-flag would help me a lot with my daily work. Moreover, I'm spending some time here and I'm willing to support the community on this wiki as an admin (living in the PDT timezone). Eventually, I feel uncomfortable using my staff-flag for all this and would love to get an approval by the community for using the tools. --Frank Schulenburg 23:47, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
