Introduction

As a follow up to the first Wiki loves monuments 2016 photowalk, Wikipedians contacted authority at Madhya Pradesh Tourism for permission letter for photography of Taj Mahal Bhopal .

To get the permission letter from Madhya Pradesh Tourism for photography of Taj Mahal, Bhopal.

Flow of Event

Two Wikipedians, Mr Suyash Dwivedi and Mr Vijay Tiwari contacted company secretary Mr Sandesh yashlaha, to get the permission for photography of Taj Mahal Bhopal and explained him about “ Wiki loves monuments” , also they discussed about the prospects of Wikipedia working with Madhya Pradesh Tourism. This meeting proved to be very promising for future activities of Wikipedia in Madhya Pradesh.

Outcome/Achievement

Permission letter was handed over to Mr Suyash Dwivedi by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism department and new frontiers of collaboration opened between Wikipedia, commons and Madhya Pradesh Tourism department.

Followups

constant talks are going on with Madhya Pradesh Tourism department for conducting joint programs in future.
