Introduction

Aim

Since Tooryanaad is a program solely dedicated to Hindi language so it is very necessary to introduce Hindi Wikipedia to the audience Which includes engineers and many technical post graduates,so that more and more students could join and enhance Wikipedia. Swapnil.Karambelkar (talk)

Flow of Event

In a presentation given by Mr Suyash Dwivedi on “ introduction to Hindi Wikipedia” he explained the present position of Hindi in Wikipedia, how to create an account on Hindi Wikipedia , Create new pages and edit the existing Hindi Wikipedia pages. A brief introduction about creative commons was also given. in this event, the poster flax, specially designed for Hindi Wikipedia was also showcased. Swapnil.Karambelkar (talk)

Outcome/Achievement

About 300 students attended the presentation and 8 of them shown in interest in editing Hindi Wikipedia.

Followups

Those students who have shown interest in editing Hindi Wikipedia were invited by email for future Hindi Wikipedia meets.
