Maithili Wikipedia went live four year ago, on 7 November 2014. To celebrate the event, Maithili Wikimedians has organized an anniversary celebration event at Patrakar Mahasangh, Rajbiraj. This time event consisted of about 60 individuals in which there are local Maithili Wikpedians of Rajbiraj, Maithili linguists, Journalists. They joined each other and made the event a huge success with the cake party.

During the event an offline meetup is organized to prepare future plans, strategy and programs based on our past activities regards with the development of Maithili Wikipedia.
