When to use

We ran a writing contest in conjunction with our Wiki Loves Monuments contest in 2016. We had two categories: Irish Monuments and People and Places of 1916. We used the template for the short term contest, as it only ran for two months. We had a decent turnout for our first contest. This learning pattern was very helpful to us.
