Karavali Wikimedians' library was inaugurated on the occasion of the first anniversary of Tulu Wikipedia at Managaluru on September 2, 2017. Prof. K. Chinnappa Gowda, Folklore University, Haveri, former vice chancellor, inaugurated the Wikipedia Library. Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy chairperson A. C. Bhandary symbolically handed over the reference books to Asaf Bartov, Wikimedia Foundation Emerging Wikimedia Communities senior programme officer. The Wiki library is at Ramakrishna PU College. Right now, there are 500+ books, paper cuttings, and other reference materials. We are also collecting books while Karavali Wikipedians go on a unique initiation, Wikipedians to the homes of eminent personalities from this region.
