MediaWiki handbook should be on mediawiki.org

Why blocked users, cascade-protected pages, title blacklist or edit filter pages that we can't edit, but it still remain the "Edit source" button, but after clicking that, we saw a message that you can't edit the page? I think it would be fair to change to the "View source" button, because technically they can't edit it. Thingofme (talk) 09:18, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

There are also the Reply button added on protected pages/archives and it says that people cannot edit the page. Thingofme (talk) 02:59, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
